Just wanted to expand on that. It should show two or three alternate routes (ranked by fastest to slowest). Although, I don't think it needs to show directions/maps (could be an external link). Instead just show a summary of the route (for example I-405S to 22, etc.). I think this app/service should focus on time (possibly times) and stay away from navigation/maps. Just let me know which route was used.
